I get the same train every time

My mum has been visiting, and I have been sick for the first time in 1,5 years.
Nothing interesting to photograph these days. I jump on a train, early in the morning. I go to work. And I let the train take me back home again. So here is a ripped page from a children's book. And today's outfit.

Saturday

Friday: wining and dining with the girls. Improvised Italian night with a tasty, though slightly odd looking, spaghetti carbonara. Wine and cigarettes on the roof, and laughing in the kitchen.
Saturday: crocheting equals frustration! It never comes out as pretty as in the tutorials. I guess it wont be my new hobby.
A sunset walk in pretty Copenhagen, as a warm up for sorbet and Juno.

Thank you, lucky star!

HI!
This is me. With three job-interviews in one week. And with a job! At what seems to be the best place possible. It has taken me until now to realize what has happened since Monday. Now I am simply happy. And grateful, for being chosen among 275 applicants. So. Can I go shopping now?

Home in a box

Been sorting, today. Now, my childhood lives in a box.

Doing nothing and everything

-Needed a break, so I took a train an hour away from Copenhagen. Stayed Sunday-Tuesday. Did nothing.
-Met up with T yesterday. We realized that it had been around 2 years since we last saw each other.
-This night I was sick. So I am staying in bed today, as I am exhausted (and hungry!)
-Received a phone call about a job interview next Monday. I am so excited! Even if I don't get the job, it is great to see my hard work in writing job applications, pay off.

Summer nights

I had the best night in a long time, yesterday. After moving for I, we went to the concert with Jamal from Uganda. It was held at a kayak club, just besides Langebro. We danced (I was careful not to place my heels in the gaps between the planks. That would have been a sight..) while waiting for this song. We were never sure if Jamal played it. All songs sound the same in African (at least they do with a bit of alcohol in the blood). It rained, the rafts rocked and I spilled red wine, all the while lightnings lit up the city from behind. It was a surreal scenario.

A visit from home

AK has been visiting me for a couple of days, and it was just what I needed. I miss being around her every day.
Later today a 5km bike ride awaits me. Moving for I, and afterwards pizza and concert with some guy called Jamal from Uganda.

Granny's got a brand new diary

Received my new diary yesterday. It is pretty and I love it!
Saw S yesterday. We ate the best food I've had in a long time, before we went home to play piano and sing. We decided on forming a band and become famous... So, next stop. Youtube?...

Yesterday evening, as I had gone to bed, I could suddenly hear voices outside my window (which I found quite strange, since I live on the 4th floor). Some guys had decided to climb the scaffold outside the building. I kept thinking (like the old lady I am) if they would set fire to the building, or steal our drying rack from the back stairs, or throw fireworks through the window. Or shoot me.. I realized I was overreacting and behaving like an 80 year old lady. So I shook the thoughts out of my head, and returned to my crime book and cup of tea.
