Pink invasion

Seems like there is some serious warming up for Valentine's going on, these days.

So much for perseverance

It turned out that doing dishes couldn't get my mind of that red dress (what a surprise...) I went to try it on today, and I swear that it tickled in my stomach when I took it of the hanger. As I slipped it on, from the bottom up, I was reminded that this is not (!) the way you put on a dress. After discovering that I couldn't get my arms in I slipped it down again. Or. Well. It was kind of stuck over my bottom. This is why you should never go shopping alone. I could have used a bit of help for the following operation...
It all ended well, and I am now the owner of a red dress. A pre-birthday present from myself to myself.

Tea and cake

Met up with a curly haired girl today, to give her this book. I had tea and she had coffee while we shared a piece of cheesecake. Forgot all about time and talked for three hours. It rained when we met, and it rained when we parted. So I walked around town with a wet fringe sticking to my forehead... Resisted buying that red dress, and walked home and did the dishes instead.

Fabric

Bought this fabric today. Want to sew a clutch, and this should be the lining. I want the outside to be dark blue leather, but why is it that you can only buy that dead grey leather, and not coloured leather? Do they seriously want you to colour it yourself? And what a mess will that not be? I imagine myself going through such a struggle to get it coloured, that I will only end up with blue hands, while the need to sew the clutch has been washed away with the dead grey colour.

Citrus

Blood oranges are pretty.
Found that the cupboard contained two fruits that had gone astray. I wonder how they got there...

Copenhagen

Talking. Talking. Deciding on food. A call to a restaurant that ended in laughter. Eating. Talking. Sleeping. Eating. Best 24 hours in a long time.

After dark

Friday the 28th. Watching the semifinals in handball at work. After close. Just four girls, in a dim lit, gigantic shop. And a guard kind enough to wait for the match to be over, before he went home.
